Personable Pet Care from Our Veterinarian in East Lansing
Since 1988, we’ve been providing personable, attentive care to dogs, cats, and exotic small mammals (pocket pets) in the Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, Williamston, and Mason areas. We pride ourselves on taking the time to engage with our patients, and forming honest, lasting relationships with our clients. We know how important your pet is to you, and we believe in showing that by making all their healthcare needs our greatest priority.
We are dedicated to providing complete, thorough care to all of our patients, no matter how small. Eastside is one of the few animal hospitals in the area that welcomes exotic small mammals—from rats, mice, hamsters, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and more. We are happy to treat them all. Dr. Seager makes a point to discuss husbandry with pocket pet owners, as their needs are much different from those of dogs and cats.
We also offer dental care to all species. We encourage regular checkups and cleanings, because dental disease affects all areas of an animal’s health. Dr. Seager has had a dental X-ray unit in her practice since 1993, to allow for full evaluation above and below the gum line. In addition to dogs and cats, Dr. Seager is proficient in treating the dental health needs of all the exotic small mammals.
We Go Above & Beyond at Our Animal Hospital
Our goal is to provide your four-legged family member with prompt service and loving care. During routine appointments, we offer nutritional and behavioral counseling to help educate owners about their pets’ lifestyle needs. We use the latest in diagnostic equipment for our in-house laboratory, which can produce results in as little as 20 minutes. For more extensive screening, we refer our complex cases out to trusted specialists for further evaluation. Our veterinary team is committed to providing quality pet care through timeliness and using all available options to keep your pet safe and healthy.
