Care and Safety Policies

For the safety of your pet and other pets (and people) in the vicinity, please have them on a secure leash, harness, or in a proper pet carrier.

If you’re planning to board your pet or have them groomed at our animal hospital, make sure they’re current on their core vaccinations, have undergone the requisite parasite screenings, and are taking parasite preventatives.

Dr. Seager and our veterinary staff are fully dedicated to providing your animal companion with the most comfortable experience possible while they’re in our care. We place a high priority on pain management and easing anxiety. We are trained to assess both of these issues. Any patient we believe is uncomfortable will be administered the appropriate medications to soothe their anxiety and discomfort. Owners are responsible for the costs incurred by these medications and/or treatments. Every attempt will be made to communicate the anticipated uses, expected results, and the necessity of their use while your pet is in our care.

Prescription Policy

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for prescription refills. All pets must have been examined at our hospital within the last 12 months for their prescription to be authorized by our veterinarian. In addition, some prescriptions may have special monitoring requirements to make a refill safe and appropriate. All prescriptions are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Payment Policy

All payments are expected at time of service. We accept cash, checks, American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, Care Credit, and Scratchpay. Care Credit is a medical refinancing service that offers several payment plans–many of which are interest-free. An added bonus is that once you have this card, it can also be used for many of your own medical expenses if your provider accepts it, as it is not just for veterinary medical needs.
